    Singapore (Remote)

Building public-facing and internal web experiences for renovation project management. I implemented server-side rendering to make shared links more useful and reliable, contributed to supplier-voucher workflows in the admin platform, and developed renovation-profile pages for customers. I also strengthen delivery quality through focused unit tests and dependency reviews.

Maintained and evolved core backend services across a monolithic platform and Azure Functions. I improved API responsiveness by moving heavy reporting and bulk-data work into Redis-backed background queues, monitored service health with Grafana and Datadog, and led upgrades from .NET 6 to .NET 8. My work also included API and database design, clear documentation for frontend partners, automated operational workflows, and tested services for products including a mental-health application.

About me

Clear thinking, dependable delivery.

Pixel-art portrait of Niel, a full-stack engineer.

I’m a full-stack software engineer who enjoys turning complex product needs into clear, dependable digital experiences. With experience across web, backend, and iOS development, I’m comfortable owning work from the first interface and API conversation through to performance, testing, and release.

I care about building software that is not only functional, but also easy to understand, maintain, and improve. Whether I’m creating a customer-facing page, refining an API, or investigating a performance issue, I bring a practical, detail-oriented approach and work closely with the people who use and build the product.

How I work

  • Own the full path

I connect interface, backend, data, and delivery concerns to build complete solutions.

  • Make complexity clear

I turn technical constraints into practical, well-documented decisions.

  • Build for confidence

I use testing, observability, and performance-minded engineering to make features dependable.
