Problem
When a dog shows a health concern, owners can be unsure whether the situation needs a veterinary visit or what safe first steps to take. This uncertainty can lead to panic, mishandling, or unnecessary trips to the vet. Owners need an accessible way to seek preventative-care guidance and keep relevant pet information in one place.
Approach
Prevet brings preventative-care consultations into a native iOS experience. Dog owners can discover veterinarians, maintain a pet profile, consult remotely through video calls, and review medical reports after a consultation. The product is designed to give owners clearer information before deciding on the next step for their pet’s care.
The app uses UIKit and XIB-based interfaces with an MVVM architecture. Its supporting capabilities include Sign in with Apple, Firebase-backed services, localization, in-app purchases, stored preferences, and privacy-aware handling of pet and consultation information.

Responsibilities
- Contributed to UIKit and XIB-based interfaces for veterinarian discovery, pet profiles, medical reports, and consultation flows.
- Integrated iOS product capabilities including Sign in with Apple, localization, Firebase services, in-app purchases, and UserDefaults.
- Applied the MVVM pattern to keep presentation logic separate from views.
- Collaborated with the project manager, designers, and fellow engineers to translate the preventative-care consultation flow into a working iOS experience.
